Make Google Happy With Free Awesome Web Graphics Tools For Better Visitor Experience
There is no doubt that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is important when you are developing your website, but one of the main factors of SEO is also the visitor experience… especially since Google started paying more attention to this factor in great detail, and weighing heavily in the search results. And yes… we are not arguing with the fact that your visitor experience is related to the quality of your content, which is a must…! but it is also related to the design of your website.
Reading a well written article on a nicely designed website would give better visitor experience than reading it on a boring site with no graphics. So we wanted to point you to some applications and software packages that you may be interested in knowing, because they are great, and best of all they are free!
KOFFICE: This is actually a great package, not only contains Artwork which is an application for vector graphics, it also has other apps such as Kword (word processor), Kcell (spreadsheet), Showcase (presentation), Kivio (diagram and flow charting).
GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program): Another great graphics application to work with pictures (in other words, this is not a vector graphics, it works on pixels) that offers pretty much what Photoshop or Microsoft Paint does.
Pixlr: This is another free online tools that you can use to manipulate your images. Unlike KOFFICE and GIMP, this is an online tool where you can access it from anywhere to do some quick image editing (they also have something called Retro vintage effects that you should check it out).
Sumo Paint: Similar to Pixlr, the free version will work fine if you want to do some online picture editing. Something handy when you don’t have access to your desktop and need to do some picture editing.
Glassy Buttons: Pretty cool glassy button generator that you always wanted to put on your site without spending that much time for designing it from scratch.
Cooltext: This is another button, or shall we say cool graphics generator. It has quite many features where you can design your logo, buttons, and also download fonts to some great extent.
Dagon Design: Even though this site offers something quite valuable as to generating your favicon, you should also check out other free tools such as CSS Color Replacement Tool, BBCode to HTML Converter Tools.
OverZone Software: This tool will help you in a great deal when you want to make your site navigation more efficient and would like to create tabs and menus.
BGP: This is a nice background pattern generator that you can use to fancy up your website. It is free and has some pretty nice patterns you can use.
Kollermedia.at: Cool backgrounds that are already done for you to download and put in your website (we are guessing the owner is German 🙂 Check it out…)
We hope all the free apps will be useful for you to create your user friendly, optimized website to give that Good Google visitor experience.
